Lake Allatoona Lakeside Trail - Red Top Mountain State Park

All of the Lakeside Trail is ADA-accessible making it suitable for wheelchairs and strollers. Hikers of all skill levels can enjoy this loop along the shores of Lake Allatoona. The trail begins at the park office and visitor center of Red Top Mountain State Park. It includes numerous benches perfect for taking a moment to enjoy the breath-taking scenery. The trail also has a historical attraction right on its route – the 1869 Vaughn Cabin. The trail is not blazed, and bicycles are not allowed.
