Locate It: Rising Fawn

Cloudland Canyon State Park is one of Georgia’s most popular state parks. Explore caves and canyons, see the waterfalls and crystal clear creeks, and enjoy the forests and wildlife. Numerous hiking and biking trails will fill your day with adventure. Try easier walks like Overlook Trail and the West Rim Loop, or test yourself on the Waterfalls Trail. Go mountain biking on the Cloudland Connector Trail and the Five Points Recreational Area.
The park also offers a wide variety of fun activities: horseback riding, fishing, disc golf, and picnicking are popular with visitors. Visit the interpretive center, open on the weekends, to learn about the park and its heritage.

Campers love Cloudland Canyon’s 72 tent, trailer and RV campsites, 16 cottages, and 10 yurts for “glamping.”

For those with a daring spirit, Lookout Mountain Flight Park has it all. Paraglide along the ridges or hang glide for a rush of adrenaline.
