The 9-hole Community Golf Course in Douglas, Georgia is a public golf course. Community Golf Course measures 3100 yards from the longest tees. The course features one set of tees.

The 18-hole Beaver Kreek Golf Club is a semi-private golf course that opened in 1988. Designed by Kirby Holton, Beaver Kreek Golf Club measures 6543 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 113 and a 70.

Located on 175 acres of rolling pineland astride the Seventeen Mile River. Facilities include a challenging 18-hole championship golf course, clubhouse, restaurant, lounge, swimming pool, and tennis courts.

Douglas’ oldest public park remains a beautiful passive park in downtown Douglas. Emma Ward has a gazebo perfect for outdoor weddings, showers, or music events. Each year in April, the park comes alive with Munch & Music, an annual event held by the Coffee Alliance for the Arts.

What was once railroad tracks is now known as the Greenway Trail, which was a part of “Rails to Trails” program. When trains stopped running on the tracks, Douglas repurposed the area into a walking and biking trail. (No motorized bikes or vehicles) This trail begins at Douglas Square and ends JC Adams Municipal Park. Asphalt paving for non-motorized cycling.

Located at Coffee Middle School, the Greg Walker Baseball Complex offers four youth baseball fields with lighting and a concession stand.

The Walter C. Huckaby Softball Complex is utilized for adult and youth softball games or tournaments.

The aquatic center has an 8-lane competition-sized pool, pool house, and splash pad for everyone to enjoy during its seasonal operations.

The Premier Sports Athletic Complex is located within JC Adams Municipal Park. This complex is a welcomed addition to what is already located at the park – 3 softball fields (Huckaby Softball Complex), soccer field, 2 fish ponds, and park shelter.

Unity Park is an active neighborhood park that features a playground, basketball courts, and 3 youth baseball fields with a concession stand.

Unity Park Baseball Complex has (3) three, lighted youth baseball fields (Jaycee Field, Elks Field and Exchange Field) and (1) one small practice field (Huck Field). Play at your leisure or book it for a youth tournament.

Sitting among tall, pine trees in a residential neighborhood is Wheeler Park. Wheeler Park has amenities suitable for any occasion: two shelters, restrooms, walking trail, playground equipment, ballfield, and tennis courts.
