Bethlehem: Little Town Under the Star

Bethlehem, Georgia, in Barrow County, is known for its Christmas-themed street names and the tradition of the post office sending mail marked “from Bethlehem” during the holidays, stemming from a 1967 stamp introduction.

Thompson Mills Forest and State Arboretum

The Bethlehem City Park has a beautiful gazebo and a walking trail. The picnic pavilion has 6 picnic tables and can be rented for events. The pavilion has a full kitchen and bathrooms in the rear.

 

The Bethlehem Community Room, beside City Hall at 750 Manger Ave., can also be rented for events. There are tables and chairs for 120 guests. The full kitchen includes a commercial ice machine.
