This neighborhood adjacent park is great for afternoon walks. Picnic tables and green space allow open play and memory making. All gatherings inside the park must be permitted through the City to ensure safety.

The Premier Sports Athletic Complex is located within JC Adams Municipal Park. This complex is a welcomed addition to what is already located at the park – 3 softball fields (Huckaby Softball Complex), soccer field, 2 fish ponds, and park shelter.

This park is best known for a bright, red caboose, donated to the city by CSX Railroad and located on the West side of the park.

Riverside Park is one of Roswell’s river front parks. This park offers access to the Chattahoochee River, a canoe/kayak launch, docks for fishing, a playground, splashpad, picnic areas and access to the Roswell Riverwalk.

A perfect stop for shade or playtime on one of Gainesville’s most popular running and walking corridors. Features a playground, pavilion and fitness equipment.

Hiking trail of moderate difficulty provides the only access to Roberts Lake Park, a 45-acre green space along Long Swamp Creek. Long Swamp Creek is open for fishing with a Georgia Fishing License. To access the trailhead, take Roberts Lake Road to the north off Georgia Highway 372 just east of Downtown Ball Ground (near the Wheeler House). Once the pavement on Roberts Lake Road ends, a logging road continues for .25 miles to the trailhead. The logging road only accommodates one-way traffic, so be cautious of other vehicles and at times you may have to pull over and back up to allow others to pass. From the trailhead parking area (marked with signs) the trail runs .7 miles from the parking lot to the dam site.

Home to a Native American mound probably built 2,000 years ago, the Effigy measures 132 feet wing tip to wing tip and 100 feet head to forked tail. Rock Hawk Park offers an outdoor classroom with over 25 miles of hiking and biking trails. Two observation tours give you a bird’s eye view of the Effigy and local wildlife.

Rock Mill Park is a 20-acre park located on Kimball Bridge Road at the access point for Alpharetta’s Big Creek Greenway. Park amenities include a green roof pavilion, an outdoor classroom, a Play Me Again piano art installation, Little Free Library and restroom facilities.

HQ of the Franklin County Recreation Department, this park features 68 acres of athletic fields, two gyms, and 2.5 miles of nature trails.

This 88-acre county owned park features a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, including a disc golf course and a dog park.

This Roswell City Park offers a variety of recreational activities: art room, baseball fields, pond with fishing allowed, football fields, gymnastics/dance center, lacrosse fields, outdoor fitness equipment, picnic areas, playground, swimming pool, rec center, softball fields, tennis courts, and hiking/walking trails.

Outdoor lovers are sure to enjoy getting close to the river without getting wet on this multi-purpose greenway that parallels the Chattahoochee River, and is part of the overall Roswell Riverwalk that runs across Bull Sluice Lake from Azalea Drive to Willeo Road. Stroll along the boardwalk, take photos of the Chattahoochee River, and watch the sun set from the waterfront.

Rotary Centennial Park is home to Perry’s beautiful nature trail network along Big Indian Creek. Visitors have access to paved walking trails that wonder through wetlands, botanical preserves, and along the creek.

One of our most used parks, Roundtree Park is a neighborhood park with several amenities – playground, splash area, ballfield, basketball courts, and tennis courts.

The Royston Wellness Park is a 43-acre development primarily used for fitness and picnic areas. The 1.2 miles of paved walking trails have fitness stations, and there is a disc golf course.

The park is home to an 18-hole disc golf course, multiple soccer fields, baseball fields, playgrounds, outdoor basketball court, and picnic pavilion. With 2 large fishing ponds and a surrounding walking trail, fishing is a favorite pastime for many local families.

This 34-acre park offers 1 lighted baseball field, 2 tennis courts, a 0.8-mile walking/jogging track, 3 lighted softball fields, 2 picnic pavilions, 2 playgrounds, and a gazebo, along with the BMX track.
