The Braelinn Recreation Complex has five baseball fields, two tennis courts, two outdoor basketball courts, a rectangular field, a kid-friendly playground, and outdoor physical fitness exercise stations.

The Brasstown Valley Golf Course has been ranked by both Golf Digest and Leading Golf Courses of America as one of the top Georgia courses to play. Designed by Denis Griffiths, the golf course winds through wildlife preserves, ponds and streams framed by the mountains.

A great 18-hole layout awaits you! Denis Griffiths designed the 18-hole layout, so it’s definitely a challenging yet fun test of golf. The Par 71 layout plays to just under 7,000 yards from the tips, boasting five sets of tees. The signature 15th hole is a 207-yard Par 3, which plays over scenic wetlands to a large, undulating island green.

Sites are pull-thrus and include Water, Sewer and Electric (30 or 50 amp). Monthly plan also includes unlimited greens fees.

Membership in BridgeMill Athletic Club allows members and their guests to play a championship golf course, and enjoy a full-service clubhouse, restaurant, tennis courts, fitness center and 2-acre aquatic center.

The pavilion hosts the Milton Market (a weekly summer food trucks and farmer’s market).

The first superintendent of the Georgia Military Institute, Colonel Arnoldus V. Brumby, built this lovely Greek revival-style house in 1851. This new Heard County Park allows easy kayak / canoe access to #bushheadshoals and Daniels Shoals near Franklin, Georgia on the Chattahoochee River. In addition to a kayak ramp, there are also primitive camping facilities, and an outfitter renting kayaks.

We are a family friendly marina offering boat docks, cabin rentals and boat rentals. The marina has a well stocked ships store with drinks, snacks and all the essentials for a day on the lake. There is on-water gas and a pump out station.

Cecil Bay RV Park offers 100 shady level sites with full hook ups, cable TV, and wireless internet access. We offer a club house and meeting space and even have our own private fishing ponds.

This park on the shores of West Point Lake provides direct boat access, RV and primitive camping sites, picnic pavilions, bathhouses, baseball field, basketball court, and playground. Currently home to American Bald Eagles.

At Island Ford, you can spend your time soaking up history at the Hewlett Lodge visitors center or hike the easy-to-moderate 5.5-mile trail that hugs the banks of the river before cutting back through woodlands. The Hewlett Lodge Visitor Center is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. except December 25.

The park lands and waters are open for day-use only from dawn to dusk year round. Dawn is defined as 30 minutes before legal sunrise and dusk is defined as 30 minutes after legal sunset. The sunrise and sunset hours are posted at the information kiosk located throughout the park.

You will find 38 wooded lots in the North Georgia mountains within 5 miles of historic Helen, GA Each with 30/50 Amp service, water, sewer, cable TV, and Internet WiFi & our tent sites have electric and water available.

The 18-hole public golf course opened in 1994. Cherokee Golf Center measures 1748 yards from the longest tees. Offering fun driving range & Par 3 course, PGA instruction, golf camps. Family & Beginner friendly.
