The 9-hole Wanee Lake course in Ashburn, GA, features 3,122 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 36 . The course rating is 34.6 and it has a slope rating of 110, making it a brisk Ashburn golf course.

War Hill Park is a large park and campground on the north end of Lake Lanier, off Ga. 318. It has a large number of primitive campgrounds and for day visitors it has beaches, boat ramps and numerous picnic tables and grills alongside the lake.

West Point Lake is a man-made reservoir impounded by the West Point Dam, a dam built by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers on the Chattahoochee River. The reservoir extends for about 35 mi along the Chattahoochee River near the Alabama-Georgia state boundary.

Enjoy our tent and RV sites, all with a fire ring and picnic table – most of which border beautiful Hemptown Creek. Our roomy, rustic cabins feature ceiling fans and 6-foot porches. Our deluxe full-service cabin provides all the comforts of home!

Most sites are full hook-up with cable. Some are pull thrus, others are back-ins on the lake! Also have overflow and pop-up sites with partial hook-ups. A dump station is available. There are 3 tent sites near the lake.

The Whitetail Ridge Campground offers 58 sites with electric and water hookups.
