The park features a dog park, walking spaces, grills, athletic fields, playgrounds, restroom facilities, shelters (pavilions), and tennis courts. Sumner Park can also host sporting events on its three fields, as well as group events and smaller-scale sports programs. This park is the perfect place to catch some fresh air and enjoy the outdoors. Park hours are from sunrise to sunset.

Connally Nature Park has been home to Atlanta’s champion white oak trees since 1991 and offers a one-mile hiking, biking, and walking trail. For an interesting sight, check out the rare pink lady slipper orchids blooming in April and May. Linger awhile by the Utoy Creek tributary that runs through the park.
