Whether you’re renting or bringing your own bike, two locations within our city stand out for the best places to ride: Big Creek Park and Greenway and the Roswell Riverwalk. Big Creek Park and Greenway offers both paved and dirt trails of varying terrain and elevation. Roswell Riverwalk parallels the Chattahoochee River and is paved, mostly flat, with an optional boardwalk section.

If you love the outdoors but want to take things a little easier, check out the Chattahoochee Nature Center in Roswell. This 127-acre haven of nature was created to bring fun and education to the outdoors. As you take in the grounds covered with beautiful, native-to-Georgia plants, observe the birds of prey habitats including two bald eagles. Add to the adventure by riding the Screaming Eagle Zipline, the only zipline in Metro Atlanta that goes over a body of water! Finish out your time with a trip to the Discovery Center to see more wildlife up-close and personal.

For more family fun in Roswell, play some rounds at the two outdoor mini-golf courses – Area 51 and The Fringe – with skill levels from basic to challenging.
