While exploring Historic Olde Town Conyers, don’t miss the Olde Town Pavilion, where you might stumble upon a happening event. Plus, consider hosting your own event there – the pavilion is available for rental.
Trails are all around and waiting for you to explore! Get outside and visit the Georgia International Horse Park. It is a special place as it is the home of the first ever Olympic Mountain Bike Trail and was the host venue for equestrian competitions, mountain bike and portions of the modern pentathlon during the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games. Here you can ride the trails, picnic, play golf, hike, canoe, and more!
Another great place for a walk or bike ride is the 3.5-mile Olde Town Conyers Trail. It is a paved multi-purpose greenway trail between the Olde Town Conyers Commercial District and Johnson Park, with parking/access points at Pine Log Park, Johnson Park, and Downtown Conyers.
Panola Mountain State Park is a recreational haven for all ages and interests. Here you will find offerings such as archery, geocaching, orienteering, birding, and tree-climbing programs. There are paved trails allowing biking, roller blading, jogging, and dog walking as well as forested trails for hiking and running.
