Nestled in the foothils of the northeast Georgia Mountains overlooking the Alpine town of Helen, Innsbruck Golf Club offers breathtaking mountain views, wildlife and a challenging round of golf. The Bill Watts 6,748-yard, Par 72 course offers a challenge for the avid golfer and a pleasant round for the novice.

This park offers camping areas with shelters, and a beautiful nature trail that circles the park.

Lake Chatuge is a man-made reservoir created by the Chatuge Dam which finished construction in 1942. The lake averages 30 feet in depth and 144 ft at its deepest.

Bass fishing rules this 38,000 acre lake, but every water sport is possible! Pack up the family and find out for yourself!

When you visit Lake Lanier Olympic Park, you can relax on the sandy beach, enjoy a picnic and a good book in Fields Memorial Butterfly garden, or take a walk through the park taking in wonderful art. If you enjoy fishing, there’s a great shoreline to cast a line. You can also participate in paddling and rowing.

On the fringe of Downtown Toccoa, GA, the Paul Anderson Memorial Park pays tribute and honors a local “favorite son”, a world-renowned Olympic gold medalist, the “world’s strongest man” and a deeply passionate Christian humanitarian.

Located in the Chattooga Ranger District, this waterfall is perhaps one of the most unusual in north Georgia because the water flows through a split in the face of a solid rock outcropping to the ground 100 feet below. Behind the split, the water drops approximately 60 feet and then rushes through the rock face and drops 20 feet into a deep pool. The water then cascades 20 more feet to Dodd Creek. Three other waterfalls may be found on Dodd Creek.

Located on a 26,650-acre lake, this park offers some of the state’s finest fishing and boating, as well as a well-kept disc golf course, a nature trail, and an 18-hole traditional golf course. This park provides a free, high mobility all-terrain wheelchair by reservation.

101 new spacious level graveled sites which can accommodate the largest RVs or motor coaches with: full hookups, 20, 30, or 50 amp service, cable TV, campfire rings, picnic tables, and wireless internet service.

Road Atlanta is recognized as one of the world?s best road courses. The facility is used for a wide variety of events, including professional and amateur sports car and motorcycle races, racing and driving schools, corporate programs and testing for motorsports teams.

Smithgall Woods is an angler’s paradise. One of north Georgia’s premier trout streams, Dukes Creek, runs through this spectacular mountain property. Five miles of trails and 18 miles of roads allow hikers and bicyclists to explore hardwoods, streams and wildlife. This park provides a free, high mobility all-terrain wheelchair by reservation.

Intricate hand-laid rockwork surrounds many of the tees, greens and fairways using naturally occurring rock from the site. The par-72 course yardage is nearly 6500 yards, offering five sets of tees to challenge golfers of all levels.

Generous fairways, meticulously manicured greens, and gorgeous hardwood trees make the Chancellors Course at The Georgia Club as appealing visually as it is to play. Par 3s and 5s make up the heart of this 27-hole layout.

On the campus of Toccoa Falls College, Toccoa Falls drops 186 feet into Toccoa Creek. It is taller than Niagara Falls.

Standing on a crossroads of history near the intersection of the Old King’s Highway and Unicoi Turnpike, Traveler’s Rest State Historic Site showcases Georgia’s last stagecoach inn, long-time residence of the Jarrett family, that displays incredible craftsmanship, provides wayfarers glances into early American travel, and peers back into life in 19th century Georgia.

From paddle board courses and s’mores with stories around the campfire to fly fishing classes, from guided hikes to our exciting, pulse-pumping adventure course, Unicoi State Park & Lodge has something that everyone will enjoy.

The Upper Chattahoochee River Blue Trail is a 39-mile pristine section of waterway. It offers excellent paddling for kayakers and canoeists, however, some experience is advisable before attempting Sections 2 and 3.

Explore Gainesville’s Upper Lanier Water Trail by Kayak! Five lake parks within Gainesville serve as the perfect launch, landing or stopover site for avid or beginning paddlers. This 14 mile section of Lake Lanier is a continuation of the Upper Chattahoochee River Water Trail.

At the base of Blood Mountain, Vogel is particularly popular during the fall when the Blue Ridge Mountains transform into a rolling blanket of red, yellow and gold leaves.

Watson Mill Bridge contains the longest covered bridge in the state. Hiking, biking and horseback riding trails allow visitors to enjoy the thick forest and river.

Woody’s typical trail ride/rental package includes bicycle, helmet and shuttle to a trail, and can last from two hours to all day. The Gold Mine Ride and The Gap Ride are Woody’s two most popular self-guided family outings.

The YMCA puts Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all.

Canopy tours, zip lines, ATV tours and rentals, ropes course, a giant swing and more will keep your adrenaline charged. Camping is also available.

There are many gardens filled with gourds, pumpkins, flowers and vegetables scattered around the 9-acre property. Bring your camera and enjoy a glass of wine from the covered deck or take a relaxing walk.

We welcome you all to come out to the farm. We currently have about 25 acres with just over 6,000 trees. Our current crop is primarily Leyland cypress but we will be offering eastern red cedar, Murray cypress, Naylor?s blue cypress, Carolina sapphire, and blue ice varieties in the coming years.
