Appalachian Approach Trail - Appalachian Trail

This hike departs the crest of Amicalola Falls in Amicalola Falls State Park from the Hike Inn & Approach Trail parking area. The Approach Trail shares the first 0.3-mile stretch with the Hike Inn Trail. The blue-blazed Approach Trail climbs through beautiful forest to the summit of Springer Mountain, the southernmost point of the Appalachian Trail.
