Blue Loop Trail – Pickett’s Mill Battlefield - Picketts Mill Battlefield

This trail leads from the ravine overlook at the Visitor Center along the Confederate battle line down to Picketts Mill. From the mill, follow the creek leading up a steep hill to the initial Federal position. From there follow the route of the Federals into the ravine, tracing the route of the assault up the ravine and returning to the Visitor Center. Along the way you will see original Civil War entrenchments, artillery emplacements, wagon roads, and pristine forest. Picketts Mill trails are dog-friendly.
