Lake Zwerner Trail – Dahlonega Reservoir - Lumpkin County

This trail leaves the parking lot going north beside Highway 19. After crossing the Yahoola Creek bridge, turn into the gravel boat launch parking lot, then north out of the parking lot along the shore of Lake Zwerner (Dahlonega Reservoir). From here, the trail is mostly a wide track following the shore and then climbing into the surrounding hills to drop back to the lakeside after crossing Ward Creek on a concrete bridge. The trail finishes across the Zwerner Dam back to the parking lot. Two moderately strenuous short climbs.
